Size does matter. 5" gutter hold only 1.2 gallons per foot. 6" gutter holds 2.0 gallons per foot. With Florida's heavy rains it is important to have an adequate gutter capacity.
ACE only installs 6" gutters.
Temperature changes cause expansion and contraction of your gutters; for this reason your gutters will leak at the joints overtime.
ACE uses a state of the SEAMLESS gutter
machine, thus eliminating joints and
ultimately eliminating leaks.
ACE uses Aluminum hidden hangers that are screwed in and
are hidden at ground level. These hangers will not back out,
and can support over 200 pounds.
The hangers and the hardware used to support your gutter system
are more important than the quality of the gutter. If it is not adequately supported, it will not last.
Gutter thickness is another important factor to the longevity of your gutters. Aluminum gutter comes in a variety of thicknesses. Insist on at least .027 inch to get the longest life out of your gutters.
ACE uses .027 inch Aluminum.
Downspouts are the other half of the gutter equation. A 2"x3" down spout will drain only a 600 square foot area, while a 3"x4" will drain 1200 square feet. The larger the downspout the less likely they will get clogged.
ACE uses 3"x 4" down spouts for maximum draining efficiency.
ACE looks forward to taking care of all of
your gutter needs.
